We’re looking forward to showing ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me,’ on the 20th July and are hoping that our plans will not be affected by any possible delays to the government’s timetable to ease social restrictions.
Although many of you will have been streaming and watching films in various forms over lockdown, we hope that after such a long time you will be looking forward to the sociable, communal experience that our shows offer.
We haven’t been standing still during our enforced closure. The major change to the way we operate is that we hope to be able to accept payment for tickets by credit/debit card, either at the door or, more conveniently for everybody, via our upgraded website. The purchase of tickets over the internet will be a simple, secure process and more details will be available closer to the date of the showing.
Iffley village shop will continue to sell tickets on our behalf and will accept payment by cash or card.
Our showing on 20th July is very much a ‘toe in the water’ for all of us, as we begin to associate once again, and we’re regarding it as a ‘pilot’ that will inform our autumn programme. For this occasion, tickets will remain at £6.00, to include a glass of wine or soft drink. We will of course be observing whatever recommended guidelines to ensure your safety that are in place at the time.
Do come and join us at Iffley Village Hall on 20th July, 7.00 for 7.30.
Best wishes from The Iffley Film Nights Team
